About Me

I am a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in sports psychology, performance consulting, and psychotherapy for individuals navigating pressure, transition, and identity development. My work sits at the intersection of mental health, performance, and overall wellbeing—supporting athletes and individuals who are striving for more, feeling stuck, or seeking clarity in their next chapter.

Whether you are an athlete performing in high-stakes environments, a young adult navigating identity and life transitions, or someone feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, or self-doubt, my role is to help you move forward with intention, confidence, and balance.

Sports Psychology & Performance Consulting

I believe performance is built from the inside out. Athletic success is not only about physical ability—it requires emotional regulation, confidence, focus, resilience, and a strong sense of identity beyond results.

I provide applied sports psychology and performance consulting to adolescent, collegiate, and elite athletes, including Division I competitors, national-level athletes, and individuals aspiring to compete professionally. My work focuses on performance anxiety, confidence building, focus and mindset training, injury adjustment, motivation, identity development, and navigating transitions in sport.

I have worked with athletes and teams across a wide range of sports, including track and field/cross country, soccer, football, basketball, hockey, gymnastics, figure skating, lacrosse, swim and dive, water polo, tennis, golf, dance, softball, baseball, and volleyball. Services include individual performance consulting, team workshops, and mental performance programming.

Psychotherapy & Overall Wellbeing

Beyond performance, I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, identity concerns, and life transitions. Many of the individuals I work with are high-functioning on the outside yet internally overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward.

My therapeutic work integrates evidence-based psychotherapy, mindfulness, and positive psychology to support emotional healing, nervous system regulation, and sustainable wellbeing. I take a holistic approach that honors the mind–body connection and helps clients build self-compassion, clarity, and a stronger sense of purpose.

My Approach

My approach is relational, collaborative, and grounded in compassion. I prioritize the therapeutic relationship as the foundation for growth and meaningful change. I take time to understand your unique story, values, identities, and context, and I tailor treatment using evidence-based interventions to meet your specific needs.

Together, we identify strengths, clarify goals, and develop practical strategies to reduce distress, improve performance, and enhance overall quality of life. Whether we are working toward peak performance or deeper emotional healing, your wellbeing remains the central focus.

If you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready for change, I am here to help you take the next step.

About Me

I am a licensed clinical psychologist based in San Diego, California, specializing in trauma-informed care and identity transitions. I work with individuals navigating life’s “in-between” phases—times when past experiences, changing roles, or major transitions leave identity, direction, or purpose feeling uncertain.

I am trained and certified in EMDR, an evidence-based approach that helps individuals process overwhelming experiences and regain a sense of safety, clarity, and control. My work supports clients in moving forward with greater freedom, choice, and self-trust.

Trauma-Informed Psychotherapy & Identity Work

I view symptoms as natural responses to painful or overwhelming experiences—signals that something important needs attention rather than something that is “wrong.” Trauma can interrupt access to our innate wisdom and capacity to navigate life’s challenges, leaving individuals feeling stuck in familiar but limiting patterns.

I work collaboratively with clients to gently open space for healing, helping them reconnect with their authentic ways of being. My approach is grounded in trauma-informed care and draws from neuroscience, attachment theory, psychoanalytic perspectives, multicultural frameworks, and Internal Family Systems (IFS).

Young Adults, Professionals & Consultation

I work particularly well with emerging adults and young professionals navigating life transitions, career pressure, identity development, and the lasting impact of past experiences. In addition to individual psychotherapy, I offer training, consultation, and workshops focused on trauma-informed care, identity development, emotional wellbeing, and resilience for young professionals and organizations.

My areas of interest include trauma recovery, identity development, intersectionality, LGBTQIA+ concerns, attachment-related patterns, and creating more flexibility and freedom in daily life.

My Approach

My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where people feel safe to explore, heal, and grow. I honor the uniqueness of each person’s healing process and work at a pace that feels respectful and empowering.

Through thoughtful, compassionate, and evidence-based care, I support clients in moving beyond survival and toward a more grounded, connected, and fulfilling life.
